For the last several weeks our attached garage has been under much needed repair/renovation. Plenty of major, unanticipated surprises popped up after taking down the walls ranging from dangerous electrical flaws, serious masonry mistakes, and structural shortcuts and hacks.

I’m told I have a reputation as a “tough customer”…. with very particular demands and expectations. That said, we were incredibly fortunate to have hired GALGANO CONSTRUCTION to do the renovation. This crew, and its owner Danny Galgano, are the most ethical, reliable and professional contractors I have ever encountered. It was an absolute pleasure to have them here as we had full trust in their work and their dedication to getting every last detail right. They were extremely respectful of us and all aspects of this house…they maintained fair and honest pricing, plus the work crew was totally neat and clean! Even the subcontractors that Galgano brought in shared his work ethic and commitment to excellence. I’ve had a lot of experience with contractors over the past 12 years in this house but, going forward, we will not hire anyone other than Galgano Construction for all work needed here. Next week they will be back on the next job…exterior siding and windows. After that…I’ll see if they just want to move in and live here.
